Greek Marinade
Perfect for tender, juicy greek seasoned meats and veggies.
Ingredients
- 1 packet Greek Night
- 1/2 cup Water (2 tbsp for marinade, 6 tbsp for cooking)
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1.5 lbs Chicken, Beef, Lamb, or Veggies.
- 1.5 tbsp Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 Medium Lemon, Juiced
Instructions
- Mix 1/2 packet Greek Night seasoning, 1.5 Tbsp. Greek yogurt, juice from 1/2 a medium lemon, and 2 Tbsp. water in a bowl.
- Combine with 1.5 lbs. chicken, beef, lamb, or veggies.
- Massage in, cover, and rest in the fridge for 1 to 6 hours.
- Heat 2 Tbsp. olive oil in sauté pan over medium heat*. Sauté meat or veggies 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Add 6 Tbsp. water and simmer to reduce liquid.
- Sprinkle remaining 1/2 packet of spices evenly over both sides of meat or veggies. Finish cooking until tender, juicy, and cooked thoroughly.
- Rest meat then serve.
- *Greek Night contains a small amount of cinnamon which will burn if cooked over medium-high to high heat. Cook at medium temperature and rotate items frequently to prevent burning.
